  • What are your prices?
    Hourly rates are as followed as of November 1, 2011; 50.00 and hour for EMT's/MEDIC'S plus a standard 25.00 PER DAY for medical equipment/Kit rental and supply replenishment (4 HOUR MINIMUM} ********Unless assigned to an job within a 36 hour notice....in that event the rate will increase to 65.00 an hour WE UNDERSTAND that things are sometimes done on a last minute basis (Due to weather/permits etc...) We will TRY and accommodate the clients but without proper notice sometimes WE can't provide personel. The smart thing to do is..... schedule the date with us and if its canceled call us within 24 hours ***There WILL NOT be a charge for cancellation as long as its called in within 24 hours******* If not a 4 HOUR charge will be billed. 75.00 an hour for Nurses (RN's/LPN's) 125.00 an hour for Physicians. 150.00 an hour per ambulance (Minimum of 4 hours) Which includes 2 EMT's or Medics and a medical coordinator to oversee the operation. WE DO NOT CHARGE if a Patient/Patients is transported to the hospital (thats part of the services provided when an ambulance is on stand-by) after a Patient/Patients is transported the crew will return to the location and remain on the scene unless told otherwise by the person in charge which is usually the 'Contact Person'// Rescue dive team is 3 people 2 PADI certified rescue divers and 1 tops side medic/EMT, price is 300.00 an hour for the team minimum of 6 hours.


  • Do you charge overtime?
    No.............the same hourly rates apply until completion of the assignment.Its a good idea to advise us on the approximate amount of hours that we will be needed for, this way we can have another crew relieve the first crew (Usually a crew/EMT/MEDIC/AMBULANCE.... is good for up to 16 hours)


  • Does your price include taxes?
    Sorry as much as we would like to WE ALL have to pay taxes including 'Starlite Medical' an 8% charge is added on to the final charge for CITY/STATE/FEDERAL..


  • Hidden surcharges?
    Not really BUT we do charge for tolls/travel time (Depending if the job is upstate or in the tri-state area...if thats the case, the appropriate tolls WILL apply) SOMETIMES we ask the people who hire us to provide the crew with a space {a plaque with proper authorization) the reason for this is our crews carry medical equipment and its also a safety topic..


  • Can we get a contract?
    Yes......'Starlite' has a basic contract for those requesting one


  • What does 'Starlite Medical Staff' provide ?
    Basically we're there in case someone gets hurt we provide medical treatment for the crew and 'Talent' and arrange transportation if needed. Starlites medical personnel carry Trauma bags and oxygen and a DEFIBRILLATOR, we also have a shirt with the company's 'logo' on the front and lettering on the back which says 'Medical Staff' on the back. The crews are CLEAN Cut!!!! We will provide interviews to the media if cleared by the producers All TRANSPORTS AND TREATMENT OF 'PATIENTS' WILL REMAIN IN CONFIDENCE!!!!!! Basic information will be provide to the 'person in charge of the set' for insurance purposes


  • How are the hours figured out?
    When we arrive on the scene we contact the person in charge and both agree at the time of arrival, after that when its time to be 'cut loose' a member of 'Starlite' will confirm with the person in charge of the time of release and those are the hours.


  • How do I pay for services?
    "Starlite' will mail you an invoice to the address agreed on, we request payment within 30 days OR a 10% sur-charge will be added each additional month past due.


  • Are our employee's covered in case they get hurt on the job?
    Yes....each employee has there own 'medical insurance' which covers them for the duration of that particular assignment


  • Do you have a tax identification Number?
    Yes........#11-340-1685


  • Do we do out of state jobs?
    Yes.... a lot of the staff are nationwide certified BUT the ambulances can only work in the NY state region....we will contact an ambulance in that particular state as a courtesy.


  • Do you have a resume of past jobs?
    We have a 5 year list of all assignments STARLITE has worked on, we also list the names of production companies and contact persons; {we post 'Thank-You's' for the past assignments in the 'NEWS' section and 'HOMEPAGE'}


  • Do you honor tax exempt certificates?
    As long as STARLITE accounting is provided with certificate PRIOR to EACH assignment.
