JULY

Well...where do I begin? How about at 2.5 million dollars for any information I accidently tell people about each show 'Starlite Medical Staff' was associated the past 4 months...this is starting to sound like the CIA (NOT Culinary Institute of America.)
I added up the shows we just did the past few months, if I told you the winners of EACH of those competition shows we would be liable for approximatly 147 million dollars.
Catch my drift?
I can tell you the shows to watch in the coming months "NEW Season of"; CHOPPED, IRON CHEF AMERICA, RACHEL & GUYS CELEBRITY COOK-OFF.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Just finished a 2 day stint on 'The Heart,She Hollar" a Cartoon Network/ Adult Swim show,

Donald Trump and the talent put some show on for the audience which loved ever minute of it; The highlights were; Gary Busey,Gary Busey, Gary Busey..he is some piece of work...I think him and John Daly 'PGA great' should get together and have their own show! AND you raised a lot of money for charity!

Thanks;
Steve/Jeanne

15 years
ago Brian Graden head of Comedy Central took a chance on a risky show called
'South Park' ever since then he said; "I have been riding Trey Parker and Matt Stones coat-tails ever since" Congratulations
Trey and Matt and thanks for flying in from the west coast in the middle of a NEW  'South Park' episode for your 'after party' of the musical ' Book Of Morman". Renata Sabelli and Matt Salerno did a great job making this whole event happen. Glad to be part of the hoopla, and remember 'Don't kick the baby'

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

'At the Blue Fin in NYC'

33 years ago I saw a band called Foreigner play in NYC....so here I am 33 years later and only 1 member from 33 years ago is left in the band 'Mick Jones', the rest of the band members  are replacements ANYWAY....great job A.J (he is the man behind the band, ex-dade county Florida Police Officer who finished the academy years back, worked 1 week with the band and never looked back) without you I don't think the band would have survived. Special thanks to COMCAST and MTV NETWORKS for making; 'An Evening with Foreigner' a success...a good time for all those in attendance, and Matt Salerno, you did a great job getting all this together at Providence {the old Media Sound Studios, NYC}

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

The band;"Foreigner" at Providence/the old Media Sound Studios

Well its back to season 3 of Adult Swim/ Cartoon Network 'DELOCATED'. Nice job getting that show on track production people 'especially Brian Tisher'. We did a lot of 'on location' filming between NYC and Brooklyn I hope the mayor appreciates how some film companies still like filming here.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

April

I haven't been to the Museum of Arts and Design since I was a little kid, nice to see nothing has changed except EVERYTHING. Renata Sabelli Stephanian you did a wonderful job for MTV NETWORKS hosting the C.M.T. Event can't wait till you handle the Oscars.

Thanks;
Steve/Jeanne

So here we are again with the beautiful staff of PEPCOM working on the ECOFOCUS event at the Metropolitan Pavalion. Michell Crissy and Heather Vidulich did a wonderful job 'as always' looking beautiful. See you in a few months

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

What a delight it was working with ALL AMERICAN HANDYMAN on HGTV in the Brooklyn Navy Yard for 10 days. Here we go again....I can't tell you too much about the show because its not aired yet BUT what I can tell you is the wonderful people I got to know on this assignment.
#1-Mike Holmes,Molly Culver,Scott McGillivray are a great team making this show work, the director Joseph Blasioli did a great job putting the puzzle together and Amy Vadnals,Jerome Calimeri and Jesse Brooks did a great job finding the pieces of the puzzle for Joseph to put together "did that make any sense?' What really got me was after a few days everyone got to know each other and we all came together like one big happy family.
Looking forward to see you Canadians on another project real soon

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

" Leviathan Cranes from the WW2 Era at the Brooklyn Navy Yard"

What a wonderful time at the Edison Ballroom honoring CYMA...you did a excellent job for
MTV NETWORKS "as always Mallery Mangan"

Steve/Jeanne

Nothing like having 285 cupcakes being baked at the Culinary Institute "There goes my diet"
Great job Brett Stolnick from Sharp Entertainment. "NO more cupcakes for me!"

Steve/Jeanne

March

Excellent working with Lynn Appell & Clancy Brown 'Mr.Krabs voice from Spongebob Square pants in a last minute assignment at St. Cecilia's in Greepoint, Brooklyn movie is called 'HELLBENDERS'

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

OK...here we go....Starlite did 20 assignments in 15 days 'Can't post pictures boooooo' BUT what I can say was; The Next Food Network Star, Rocco's Dinner Part, MTV UPFRONT, assignments were handled flawlessly 'nobody called in sick'.  We are still not aired yet and the last time I mentioned some director who was directing the show....I got in trouble......so.......until i start seeing these shows on the telly I'll keep my mouth shut. What I WILL say is that I work with the best line producers around, not to mention the BEST directors and craft service people 'I gained 5lbs'.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

I'm so lucky to have people in the industry that know what they are doing, especially people like Renata Sabelli and Matt Salerno from MTV Networks,Nothing like a Comedy Central Roast after party I always say; special thanks to Mr.Trump :).
Great night at 'Gotham Hall'. {its not in 'Gotham City'}

Thanks

Steve/Jeanne

February

Where do I begin?  The last month of filming "24 Hour Restaurant Battle" at Brooklyn Fire Proof & the Nut Roaster Studios with its talented host; Scott Conant was a weather channel challenge for OUR staff, as well as CBS EYE productions.....it snowed...snowed...snowed and it was...cold...cold...cold.
What a great bunch of people we got to work with, between Julie Fiasconaro,Brian Tisher, Zoey,Michael Pearlman,Shadow Holden,Phil Martinez,Anthony Caltabiano and our fearless leader on stage; 1st A.D Sean King!
The Art/Lighting/Audio/Camera and Culinary Departments are a trip to work with, they put together a 'culinary mash unit'  in a few days 'God Bless' those kats and kittens..such talented people.
{The audio  & Lighting department constructed a grid that would put an expert aeronautical engineer to shame.}
Nothing could go wrong..and if it did...no problem we had it under control (except the snow).
Special thank-you to our caterer 'Tara Raichle', everything was 'Yummy Tummy' good.
As always I can't 'spill the beans' on who won..because Las Vegas is still taking bets on the winners of the shows yet to be aired 'JUST kidding, although I sometimes wonder'.
 MY Personal observation on '24 Hour Restaurant Battle' is;
Getting to watch the customers/audience dressed up, on there own 'sometimes there first time' and enjoying a gourmet meal prepared by some of the most talented  chefs in America.
THAT ladies and gentleman is worth its weight in gold.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Working last minute with NEW REMOTE PRODUCTION in Long Island was a change of pace.
Love those old Gruman airplane hangers 'My cousin actually worked there for many years he was a REAL rocket scientist'
ANYWAY....... 'I'm drifting again'
Great job Morgan Winters and the rest of the MTV production team, looks like
"Son Of A Gun" might be a pretty cool show, working on a bit called 'Wheel Danger'

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Just covered a 5 day marathon for MTV/UPFRONT at the Hammerstein Ballroom,
between the cast of; "Jersey Shore" and a terrific production team like Gary Pignano, Gillian Blackman and Jonathan Roufaeal nothing could go wrong.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

January

Just worked 3 days with 'Lady Gaga' for a music video...if I say anything I will be arrested by the Gaga police.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

I love working Birthday parties for talent  like 'BETTY WHITE'
not only does she still drink 'Vodka on the rocks with a twist of lime on the rim'
she is just a nice person to be around also it was pretty cool seeing Stephine Powers there too. Vanessa Barone did a great job as well as Jane Mc Givena
at; Le Cirque 'What a classy place' Ciro 'the owner of Le Cirque' was a gentleman posing for pictures all night with everyone.
Special thanks to Nickelodeon for hosting the event too.
I hope to be there on Betty's 90th Birthday party.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

'I look much thinner with my jacket closed'

1 day after a snow storm blew into the NYC area "Cause & Effect" was in production
'much to MY surprise'. What a day....working at a residence and not ruining their floors was a challenge BUT everybody listened to Michelle Cuccuini and Sean Kelly and took off their shoes before entering the house 'we all brought a second pair no thanks to Sean thinking ahead'.  After 19 years with FDNY/EMS I was pretty surprised to see our director Jamie Hubbard actually get the talent '3 year old' to listen to him, so the day went pretty much on schedule.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

2010

December

Last assignment for the year goes to MALADIES PRODUCTIONS LLC which couldn't be at a better; "On location" place.....60 blocks (Beach streets) away from our home.
Water was cold...for Stratton Bailey and our fearless actor David Strathaim who jumped into the 38 degree water for a good 4-6 minutes so everyone could get there camera shot.
Even though I was only with the crew for the day it seemed like they are a swell bunch of characters themselves 'professional too!'
Manny Siverio has got to be one of the best 'Stunt Coordinators' out there so it was a privilege working with him.
Bottom line was that Chris Caroll, Jason Sokoloff and Jeff Most did a heck of a job.
Ice skating award goes to the steady cam operator 'Billy Green' for not falling on his ass with all that snow & ice around him.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

"Its cold in December at Rockaway beach, New York"

{**First things first...Happy Birthday to our director Michael Cruz 12/18/10}
Past 4 days have been a trip.....hoping from The Bronx to Brooklyn to Manhattan and then to Queens
its was like going on rock concert tour but without the band
"Sometimes its less aggravating without the band, especially when your doing 12 hour days that last 16 hours"
Excellent job by HICCUP MEDIA INC. Production team regarding  EURO RSCG LIFE 4D
and there client; SANOFI AVENTIS.
Gary Giudice gets an extra point for pulling us all together as well as Neil Daly, Scott Bredengerd, Andy Cesana and Louis Zuppardi for there fine work.
Katie the dog...gets an extra bacon strip also!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

On location with the PILOT crew again at Screen Gems Studios
nice to see body paint is still around.
Excellent job Zachary Liporace.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Just when I think I'm so smart I find out I'm not as smart as I thought I was.
It was cold working with the film company PILOT Filming an episode of "Your Cut Off"
I forgot to put on 2 pairs of socks in 20 degree weather 'brrrr'.
Smart award goes Steven Holtzman for his idea of getting the "Patio Heater" that kept the crews butt warm in 20 degree weather.  The talent 'Samantha Streitz' did a great job of not complaining how cold it was and did her job to the T.
Thank-you production manager; 'Kevin Howard' for handling all important paperwork stuff. Lamar Williams and Amary Rodriguez thanks for everything...you guys are a big help as always.

Thanks

Steve/Jeanne

I am so glad MTV NETWORKS had there Christmas party this year at the Hammerstein Ballroom
because that tells me the economy is getting better.
Special Special thanks to Gillian Blackman,Heather Boydd,Colleen Byrne, Michael Dare, DAVID FERNANDEZ, Mallery Managan,Gary Pagano,Renata,Sabelli-Stephanian,Matt Salerno and Jane Volpe
for there tiresome effort with getting this 'Party For The People' event in full swing.
It was a some night!
Everything was excellent....a few people attending the party MIGHT have a hang-over the day after 'collateral damage' as they say in the field.
Bottom line is that it has been a wonderful year, and I would like to thank-you and all the people involved with giving our staff a call to work we really appreciate it.
ANYWAY........
See you on Campus!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

November

What a great name for a film; Burning Blue the Film
Good job Erin Sweeney....... everything went clockwork.
A funny thing about being at the beach in 40 degree weather is, that its not as good as being at the beach when its 85 degrees out.
Next time film in the summer, brrrrrrrrrrr.......

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

WOW....32 episodes of CHOPPED and not one time did I have a problem with MY staff!
THAT tells me they like the assignment they are on;
Bottom line is that I can't reveal anything about the show because its not aired yet....
I CAN tell you about the wonderful people at NOTIONAL like Loe Fahie,Ashley Vann,Skyler
Victoria,Travis,Chris and all the rest of the; "Food Beauty's".
It is such a pleasure working for a 'Top Notch' production company
And what can I say; Ted Allen the host.....THANK-YOU for doing what you do best
Hosting one of the best cooking shows around on the FOOD NETWORK,without you the show would go down the tubes Ted 'make sure you tell them that when contract negotiations start in January 2011 for season # 9'

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

The greatest thing about having talent is having a chance to show it off  at the open auditions at; "BAM/Brooklyn Academy of Music" did the last 3 days
Special thanks to Alfajiri McDonald for her marathon work for those three days,
without her....beautiful people wouldn't get a chance to become a star on;
"So You Think You Can Dance".

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Nice to see the prettiest girls from Florida running the PEPCOM event at the Hammerstein Ballroom
"Wine,Dine & Demo" the other day
Why I left Florida to come here is beyond me.....
Great Job Heather Vidulich...hope to see you in 2011

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

A very special thanks to John Sykes and all his work regarding;
"VH1 Save the Music Foundation Gala 10"
Sometimes you can learn a lot from people like him. Also I have to mention Gary Pagnano and Charis Satchell as well as Gillian Blackman {for her physical way of moving a dozen heavy boxes}
The talent? What can I say... between Billy Burke,John Legend,Natasha Bedingfield,Julie Andrews,Kristen Chenoweth,John Mayer and Joel and Benji Madden from 'Good Charlotte'
it was fantastic...and the school kids from Marine park middle school orchestra they sounded perfect.
A special award went to Paul Williams for his work with the foundation and a 50,000 dollar thanks to TEAM MOBILE for there donation to the foundation.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Dressed like; 'Men in Black' at the VH1 Save the Music Foundation Gala 2010

One of my favorite TV all around stars is Miss Rachel Ray, it was a pleasure working with people like Bjoern Stejskal and Veta and watching how they can get the Worlds Largest Cooking Demo on television....its not easy.
It was a pleasure seeing Kelly Ripa and her husband 'Mark Consuelos'
those three had the studio audience in stitches talking about stuff that WILL BE EDITED.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

October

I just love working with MTV/VIACOM all that talent has to come out somewhere and the personnel that work here are the people that get the show on the air...so its nice to see a thank-you party for there customers...excellent job Michael Dare for your work at  Providence, see you at the end of the month at the Hammerstein ballroom.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

September

Its great to be back at 15151 Broadway home of MTV studios looking foward to coming back by the end of the year...New Yeas is not too far away! Mallery Mangan you did a great job up there on that 7th floor.

Nice to see the pretty girls at PEPCOM again and welcome back Michelle Crissy
after having her beautiful bambino. You still look great..how does she do it?
See you all in a few more months.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Well yesterday was a first....working with "Live"chickens, goats & horses roaming the set
(I worked with a yellow python once 2/08 "His name was; "Lemon", hence the color", I'll tell you one thing; 'Lemon' was NOT roaming the set!)
ANYWAY......Great job to Oliver Brooks who had everything under control.
A few times I was going to make a suggestion...I'm glad I didn't because I would have totally screwed up the filming'
Example; "Sure is a closer and quicker way to get to the (set), take the belt parkway from first location in Queens to Brooklyn.
" Guess what..no trucks are allowed on the parkway" (No soup for me)
Second screw up- "Lets have everyone park there vehicles closer to the set"
(great idea...unfortunately the 'set' is supposed to look like a poor venezuelan town)
Third screw up; "Wow someone should pick up all that trash on the baseball field"
(It supposed to look like that...art department spent a long time to make the field look dilapidated)
I'll stick to the medical stuff.....
Thanks David K Schaffer LTD and the rest of your fine crew for having us join you on your event for Comedy Central.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

(The 'extras' eating the props on location)

Thanks Sean Kelly and Michelle over at; CAUSE AND EFFECT for that last assignment  'NICK Jr.'
What a great Studio 'Cinema World' we have in Brooklyn.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

August

Many years ago we started at MTV NETWORKS and it was great.....it still is!
Love the action and the people, unfortunately not too familiar with the NEW bands these days.
Nice to hear from one of the greats/Legends in production 'David Fernandez'.
Jonathan Roufaeal did a fantastic job over at St. Bartholomew's in NYC.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Just want to thank ALL the beautiful people at the FOOD NETWORK for letting us on board for season #9 of Iron Chef America, it is a pleasure to work with the talent like; Bobby Flay,Masaharu Morimoto,Michael Symon, Jose Garces, Cat Cora, Robert Irvine and especially Alton Brown.
But like all shows...... without a stand-up production team..there would be no show, so thanks
"Seth" for being a great director, and Terry Nesmith for being the best production coordinator
money cant buy. Julie and Meridith and John and Billy..you kats and kittens are great too.
John...thanks for keeping score.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

(On the set 'Iron Chef America')

July

I'm starting to feel like 'WE ARE good luck'
here is another show that is going into its second season; "DELOCATED" on the Cartoon Network
{You don't need Medics & EMT's for Cartoon Characters...so we are working with real live people...but on the other hand if Willie Coyote and ACME ever needed us....we are available}
Brian Tischer you did a great job with those last minute calls on Sunday night..
you never sleep do you?

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

June

Congratulations to Michelle Crissy from PEPCOM 'baby'
You were missed! Hope to see you back real soon!
As always the prettiest ladies ran the show 'Digital Experience'
At the Metropolitan Pavilion. Your the 'Best' Heather!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

{Editors note; When I say somebody did a great job on an assignment "I mean it" too many people just
'Do there jobs' and thats it, people like me see Production teams actually working and trying to make a show work, I have been lucky to see this first hand and feel privileged working with the production teams for the past 14 years...thats a big word T-E-A-M and I have seen the results,
"Shows being ordered in for another season or a movie getting a great review"
A tremendous amount of financing is done before a 'shoot on location' or 'in the studio', and it takes a lot of talented people out there to know where to find those talented people, next time you come across a 'call sheet' look how many people are involved..its like running a small army, and when you count in the supplies/food/bathrooms etc..  'you catch my drift ' It ain't easy trying to make every thing run smooth and just when you have everything running on schedule what happens? The weather throws you a curve ball! Sometimes I think the people in Production are part time magicians because they somehow improvise and make the whole thing work}

Thats all....I just wanted people to know  and to; "Q the sun...we have a picture here!"

STEVEN BIALEK

What a wonderful experience it was working for; Handyman LLC/Frivalley Productions in Staten Island for a new show coming out called 'All Amercian Handyman' {I especially loved the 3 flight walk up to the production offices guys}
Bottom line; Steven Holtzman/ Clarence 'Capt America'/ Supergirl/Maria Pimentel/Lenny/Mike Holmes/Joseph Blasioli/SEARS I wish you the best and since I know what I'm talking about, I am looking forward to be working with you on season #2 'minus the spiders of course'.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

What can I say?? How about; Donald Trump,Bret Michaels,Holly Robinson,Sharon Osbourne,Cyndi Lauper,Carol Leifer,Summer Sanders and Rod 'Blago'jevich?
Well.... Season #3 of Celebrity Apprentice just came to a close and with a lot of twists and turns, it makes viewing the program most enjoyable, AND with generosity 500,000$ from SNAPPLE 'Thank-you/Thank-you/Thank-you' those charities for Holly Robinson and Bret Michaels are the real winners;
Hollyrod Foundation & American Diabetes Association.
Thank-you Mr. Trump for making all this possible.

Thanks again
Steve/Jeanne

Alot of cool events wind up at the 'Arena', and its a pleasure to know that
Jenny Pulido is on the money to get people where they are supposed to be.
Hope to see the peeps at CASANOVA. COM again.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Thank you VIACOM/MTV Networks for that interesting assignment
at the
Edison Ballroom.
Meredith Hellman without you nothing would get done and we are glad you are on our team.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

March/April/May
One of the best jobs in the world is working for the FOOD NETWORK!
At the present time 2 really cool shows '24 Restaurant Battle' and 'The Next Food Network Star'  are in production and as always people like Julie Fiasconaro make these shows work.
As always I can't tell you any secrets (they will send chefs over and cut out our tongue's) but what I can say is; Watch these shows when they are aired!
I seem to be getting good at picking out the shows that will last a few seasons
these 2 shows got my 'Thumbs-up'

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Well it was another great event hosted by PEPCOM.COM and its angels,
"Heather Vidulich" has got to be the sweetest host ever!
The 'ecofocus' theme was a winner.
See you in a few months ladies, and Michelle Crissy hope that new addition comes soon we can't wait to have you back in New York.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Every time we cover a VH1/VIACOM assignment I look around and see the same people who listen to this stuff from years ago, now all grown-up (not ALL grown-up) running the show and, its nice to see how people like Gillian Blackman and the talent; 'TRAIN' & 'Jessica Simpson' still have all the moves.
'VH1 Upfront' Assignment at the piers what a blast!
I'm sure you sold alot of air time!
See ya soon..........

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

JANUARY/ FEBRUARY/MARCH
It nice to see familiar faces on the set of;
'CHOPPED' {Season #3}
As always the talent of the show 'Ted Allen' seems to be the best
part of what makes a show a hit, not only is he a professional but also sits down with the crews and eats and TALKS as well as LISTENS to them, he understands quite a few people have dedicated themselves to this show and he is grateful.
T.J Sansone is still a great director!
A few people 'Including Loe Fahie' have been bumped up in the food chain from last year Season #2,we also have a new production company
NOTIONAL (Thank-god) running the show on the FOOD NETWORK.
As always I can't tell you any secrets about the show because we are still in production, but what I've seen so far tells me this show will be around for a while.
WATCH IT! Check your local T.V listings

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Anytime we do an assisignment at the Hammerstein Ballrooom
I can't help but think about the person 'a few years back' who fell off the balcony durring a Christmas party and ended up on the first floor without spilling his drink
(That takes alot of talent)
Anyway all went well for MTV UPFRONT 2010 I'm sure VIACOM was very happy with the results no thanks to Tom Kennedy and his peeps ALSO
Usher did a great job at entertaining the masses.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

What a great show 'So You Think You Can Dance'.
Again my theory is correct, as long as you have the same personnel
working behind the scenes at DANCE NATION PRODUCTIONS
the show gets better every year.
Excellent job by Alfajiri McDonald
at getting all the pieces back to the puzzle 'once again'
The auditions being held in NYC and the Bronx
can't get any better then the people who do the try-outs
and this years show looks better then last years with some great dancing and some surprises!!

Thanks again
Steve/Jeanne

Its nice to see our California division is busy making movies, its even nicer when the movies come to New York via California.
NEW peeps at Zweibel Worldwide Productions have a new contact  here in NY as per Gregg Speigelman, all went well for Elizabeth Garnett and company even if we did have to shoot in a dilapadated location. We all had a blast.

Thanks
Steven/Jeanne

September

Sometimes our medics can multi-task espesially when it comes down to the saftey of the crew at Tempesta Inc.....
We need a shot BUT we don't know if the crew will end up dead doing it.
This is where the carbon monixide detector becomes the star of the shot
I think the Medic of the year award goes to this guy!
(Thanks for having it in your vehicle)
Mathieu Dahda and Maybelline its a pleasure working with you and the production team (Including the tiger)

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

They are back in Brooklyn
'SAVE THE MUSIC DIVA'S'
All the 'Female' talent looked quite appealing!!
I still can't afford a date with them......
Still........one can dream.

Thanks
Steve

WOW......First of all, its nice to have the MTV Music Video Awards back in
NEW YORK CITY!!  There were so many people behind the scenes to make this work its pretty much impossible to list them all, but the people I do know like;
Jerah Milligan,Vanessa Barone,Erin Mills,Jane Volope,Gillian Blackman,Pauline Koffman, Eric Walsh and 'Drum roll please' ADAM STEWART
you all did a great job at handling; politics, public, traffic, toilets, craft services, talent, (see what I mean) unions,WEATHER,parking,VIP's...
I guess when you look at it thats part of the job.
Its funny to see how they eat, talk on the radio and walk to the next destination while someone is talking to them explaining that 'Another situation just came up!'
What television needs its a reality show about them!
See you all in Hollywood and thanks for letting us be part of the mayhem.

Thanks again
Steve/Jeanne

August

Coming down the home stretch for the filming of VH1's
"I want to work for Diddy" Season #2.
Nikki Cruz has done a fabulous job as always (especially) with all
the big wigs from VH1 standing by and watching the contestents.
See you in Hollywood!!
(make sure the help don't leave any sharp objects
on top of ladders next time....you can loose an eye that way)

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

July

Just want to thank Left/Right Inc. for our new adventure in Staten Island.
Nikki Cruz  did a swell job considering how hot it was on the set
of ; "I Want To Work For Diddy" I'm glad everyone had plenty of water!!
Its a funny thing, the last time we shot in Staten Island we were working a movie called 'Diggers' and the thing I remember most of all was the swamp.
{De-ja-vu}

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Back for Season 2; "I Want To Work For Diddy" is off to a flying start
in our home base at Ft. Totten. Nikki Cruz from Left/Right Inc. is doing a
swell job...only 30 more days left, Next stop The loft and then Pedicab races in Styvesant town NYC,and then who knows??

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

June

Great to be back at the Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC with the pretty ladies of PEPCOM for there cool show called 'Digital Experience'
Thanks Heather Vidulich!! See you ladies in a few more months

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

May
Sometimes a celebrity does something really cool..so congradulations to
Joan Rivers on winning the 'CELEBRITY APPRENTICE' Miss Rivers won 250,000 dollars towards her favorite charity which was
"GODS LOVE WE DELIVER"
It was nice seeing Donald Trump,Andrew Dice Clay,Tom Green,Scott Hamilton,Claudia Jordan and Dennis Rodman all of them were very nice to us little people (I think the closest I'll ever get to becoming a billionaire was standing next to Donald Trump for a few minutes)
What a trip!!!
By the way great job
Douglas Baker,Lynn &Cindy
show went off without any disasters. and Donald looked pretty happy!
I'm sure the bosses at REILLY WORLDWIDE noticed that too

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

April

Working on the set of the FOOD NETWORKS show 'CHOPPED' second season "Congradulations"
Loe Fahie (You must be good-luck! Either that or you work real hard or MAYBE its a little bit of both)
This is an on-going assignment so I can't tell you too much (I'm not allowed)
but what I can tell you is Ted Allen is a perfect host for the show AND
when one of the production assistants moms came to visit, Ted was so kind that he got the mom into the control room to watch some of the taping in progress.
I still have faith in humanity thanks to Mr.Allen.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

PEPCOM event went better then expected at the Metropolitan Pavilion this April
and I'm glad all the pretty ladies from PEPCOM showed up (They are all drop dead gorgeous!)
Hope to see you in a few months.

and it looks good!!
Great job Jerome Hammond and Rich Gonzales.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

One day I will be going back to Las Vegas..but until then
I'll have to stick to losing my money in Atlantic City.
If it wasn't for those 'Charlies Angels' girls at PEPCOM
I don't think PEPCOM would be around...
That mean's Heather and Michelle you are an asset to all those
people that can't wait to see you again at the next show!!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Ok...so here we go again, another year and we are still above the ground
"Thats a good thing" as Martha Stewart would say.
Great job Nathan Lynch for all your work on the set at
Cinema World
When you can handle a MTV CIRCUS PROMO you can do anything.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

This is starting to become a game of 'DARE'
So far we haven't missed an assignment!
Another last minute call to"Make Me a Super Model" with
Aaron Butkus
and TIGER ASPECT USA.
You know I just realized everytime I mention this assignment to my Medic/EMT's
they never give me a problem (Its the name of the show )
Silly me.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Sometimes I amaze myself....
Whenever TIGER ASPECT USA calls for a medic its usually
because they need one yesterday.
So far we have not missed one assignment...we have covered 4 north eastern states with practically 'no notice other then a few hours'
Actually its not me its the personnel I have that pretend I know what the hell I'm doing.....don't ask...if it gets done..its done..Thanks guys

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

2 Assignments in a row from MTV Networks?
I guess Sydney Fisher and the staff miss us,
This is the 3rd assignment in the past month that we had to work with animals. "REAL ones"
I like the place CECO Studios....good place for a movie shoot.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

We missed working for MTV Networks especially Pauline Koffman from Special events! Nice to see you all again.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

The last time we were at ABC studios in NYC Mr.Blaine was inside an Ice cube,
so here we are a few years later and what a change!
Without getting too political "It was election night"
Congratulations President elect Barack Obama-Godspeed the American public!
Anyway thank you Melanie Lefkowitz for putting us back in the studio
and Sean Murphy, you did a great job too.
Hope to see you again real soon!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

October

Wow.....more thanks to the people at CHANEL for having us take care of the dedicated contruction workers putting up the CHANEL MOBILE PAVILION
in Central Park (This is a 2 month operation)
Lot of people to thank starting with; Adam,Tony Hauser,Bob Weiss and Carsten Weiss to start off with...also thanks to the Racoons for stopping by for dinner on a nightly basis.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Meanwhile back at BRAVO'S new season of MAKE ME A SUPERMODEL
we seemed to be 'on location' everywhere except in NYC.
Arron Butkus is doing a a great job at getting all the coordinates
down like a starship commander. Phasers on stun everyone!!!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Special thanks to all those Medics/EMT's working for STARLITE
in the past...it seems we have become popular all of a sudden,we have also made the right decision on a few assignments (WE DID NOT COVER DAVID BLAINE)
So lets start off with the Food Network and there new show called CHOPPED,
I would like to thank our loyal production manager Loe Fahie from City Lights Television who has employed a lot of us during this economic 'burp'
You are the best!!!!!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Its nice to be working with very talented PRETTY ladies...so when we get a call from Aaron Butkus st TIGER ASPECT USA to work with "MAKE ME A SUPER MODEL" we usually ask ; So How high do you want us to jump?

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

You know we started with MTV Networks over 10 years ago and when we don't get any assignments we get a little worried 'Maybe they don't like us anymore?'
Its sort of like a withdrawl thing......So it was nice to hear from
Erin Mills
For us to cover the Hip Hop Awards this week.
Don't be a stranger!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

September

Just like to thank all those nice people at
http://www.pepcom.com/ there 'South of the Boarder' theme was a hit with the press, everybody walked away with an authentic Mexican sombrero made in Mexico not China, along with other little goodies the companiesprovided free of charge!
('Thats called;SWAG' 'Mark Silverstein' from THE BEST OF would have loved this place)
Michelle Crissy and Heather Vidulich you both looked as pretty as ever!
Jon Pepper and Chris O'Malley picked the right caterers
''The stuffed HOT peppers were excellent'
see you in a few months

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Sometimes a good/GREAT show is hatched by a Mad Scientist like
"John" and his director, whats better is that they had the good sense of working a scene without a script,I mean basic lines, but the rest is totally spontaneous sort of like an old 'Saturday Night Live' before it started to suck
"Why is that show still on the air???"
Anyway lookout for "RAGE CAGE" on
ADULT SWIM/CARTOON NETWORK
I don't want to say to much and spoil it all I can say is watch it!!
Very funny!!
Also great job by these great people from Steve,Vanessa,Neil,Manny,Joanna,Jaequeline Marie,John & Smokey.
Its been a pleasure working with you.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

"Axe me another question pretty bird"

August

{Everybody is on vacation including us}

July

Every once in a while a monkey wrench is thrown into the crock pot..this assignment was one of them.....
Luckily I always have a continginency for those 'Just in Cases'
I learned that from working at NYC FDNY/EMS
Sometimes nothing ever goes as planned...
First; Gillian Blackman from MTV is the best!
Second; Eddie and his partner get a gold star for coming thru.
VHI SAVE THE MUSIC in Sag Harbor,Long Island,New York
Turned out to be a great event...thanks for keeping the faith
Gillian.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Its nice to work with those returning clients {that are super cool} like City Lights Television and Loe Fahie
Its a very hot day to work but...we got the shots in for Style High...Your the best!!!!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

June

There are times when I wish I was somewhere else
then where I was (Got that?)
I would like to thank again the staff at PEPCOM.com
for letting us work the assignment this past week
It such a pleasure working with such cool girls like
Michelle Chrissy,
Also having there event at the Metropolitan Pavilion

They handle everything with me pulling my hair out
(Great job Mike)
Anyway i would like to thank Integrated SecurityServices and Alan Schissel for letting us take part in the Greely Square,NYC assignment.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

You know I just had to check out the filming of City Lights television show "Iron Autospy"
on the Travel Channel so I decided to pay a visit.
This was the smartest thing I did in a long time.....
I got to see president Franklin D. Roosevelts presidental rail car underneith the Waldorf Astoria. I was in the lowest point underground in NYC 'Grand Central Terminal'
 Generator room Metro north'
and Grand Central Stations Clock above 42nd Street.
The host of the Show Frank Carfaro has a lot of guts when
it came to risking injury for the sake of the show.
Jason Beauregard the director did what he could do in those tight spaces and always got the shot!!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

May

I never knew how historic the Hearst building was on West 57th Street,I guess when you have that much money you build a building in New York (anybody still remember Patty Hearst??)
our second location was the Roosevelt Island Tram
(anybody remember when a few people got stuck mid-way years back??)
well anyway..it was great working with Loe Fahie and City Lights Television on the new show 'Iron Autospy'
WE will be watching...super cool show!!!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

March

I think we took the month off???

Febuary

Okay....before I begin I would like to say this assignment has to be one of the hardest ones we ever did "I hope we don't get sued" bottom line is Starlite Medical covered all the injuries,
and there were quite a few!
Did I forget to tell you the name of the show???? Try
JACKASS 24 HOUR TAKEOVER it was also 'LIVE" from NYC.
We also did filming prior to the show in different locations in NYC,
at this point I could write a few pages on this assignment...BUT I decided against it...I really don't know what to write, other then Don't try any of the stunts performed....REALLY!!!!
Great job Trip Taylor, without you I have no idea where that show would have went (You have to win some kind of award Trip for being the Executive Producer of JACKASS)
And Chris Palmer..what can I say???? Other then being the best
Director of Risk Services person I ever met.
Its taken me 2 days to wind down from that event, believe it or not it was fun.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Working at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn can be very hazardous to your health especially if your working underwater with Boa -constrictors {Actually the snake was very friendly..his name is "Lemon" by the way}
All I can say is the show; Make Me A Supermodel looks pretty interesting...good luck and great job Joyce Covello.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

January

A not so funny thing happen the other day (I almost deleted the whole website by accident !!! Thank god for system back ups, I'm not going to experiment anymore...
well maybe not this week anyway )
I would like to thank Michelle Chrissy and PEPCOM.COM for letting us cover your Las Vegas Events especially at the Mirage hotel, our medics say your shows are really cool 'They still use that word..right???' Anyway have fun on your next adventure; Barcalona,Spain!!!!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

A funny thing happened while filming a TV pilot "The Hunt"
in NYC Central Park the other day, some Intoxicated gentleman decided to take a swim in the lake (Yes..it is the month of January) Whateve the case I hope they got this guy on film!!!
Ryan Loftis did a superb job for Hyperactive media

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

I hope they decide to keep MTV's "TRL" on the air a little longer
I'm beginning to really like the show...actually I'm understanding it more (listen I'm one of those Led Zepplin fans)
Jessica Salitisky
you did an outstanding job at getting us at the last second!!!! "We would do ANYTHING/LEGAL for you"

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Looks like season #2 production for MTV's "Human Giant"

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

I see we have a new sheriff in town at 1515 broadway for todays episode of "TRL" on MTV NETWORKS

Steve/Jeanne

Now that MTV's Human Giant has gone into season #2
we should all be able to find our sense of humor again!!
Nice hearing from Brian Tischer and Sam Hendrick and was
cool working the 34 street heliport
"The eagle has landed"
See you Thursday guys.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Its a pleasure working for PEPCOM.COM in different cities!!!!
Nice knowing the staff in Nevada 'Bruce Stewart' has everything under control...
I understand Michelle Chrissy is building up those frequent flyer miles....Too bad we can't do the event in Barcalona,Spain next month...maybe next year.
ANYWAY the event 'Digital Experience'
at Caesars Palace went along wonderfully!!!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

2007

December

Working the 2008 Tila Tequila's New Years Eve Masquerade in the studio at 1515 Broadway was as good as its ever going to get for this cowboy!! Nothing like being above the crowd at Times Square on New Years Eve.
Enough about me....Great job by Sandy Pan and Katie Coco getting everything together and making sure everone behaves themselves (Listen its LIVE TV!!!! After the show is over, you can get trashed, BUT not on Live TV ....Not yet anyway, BUT we are working on it.)
Outstanding performances by Kid Rock,Mary J. Blige,Wyclef,Paramore,Flo rida and Cobra Starship
posting some pictures of the crowd soon.

Thank-you
Steve/Jeanne

Looks like Randy Jackson from American Idol will be getting his own TV show on MTV Networks in the beginning of 08.
It was amazing watching the dancers and acrobats filming
"And Flipping" the promo for the show. By the way, great job Ryan Loftus and Sean Linehan for getting us all to the location,
"We would never have found the old abandon warehouse off 52nd street in Bklyn if it weren't for your directions"

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

This years MTV Networks Holiday party at the Hammerstein ballroom was excellent!!!!!! Thanks to Garry,Colleen,Jane,Vanessa,David and especially Gillian Blackman.
{You can tell a good party by; how many coats were left at coat check by the end of the night}

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

November

I never realized how difficult it is to work a computer!
These days they keep updating the system all the time, thats what empresses me when
we work with PEPCOM.COM doing there conventions across the country, its a computer haven and a technology orgy!!!
Its great how the girls Heather and Crissy do all the heavy lifting while the computer wizzards hook up all the hardware
(They really make it look easy...its NOT)
Chris and Jon are great coordinating all the BIG technology companies under one roof.....now thats talent!!!!

Thanks again
Steve/Jeanne

Well its back to the 'Douglas House' for another full day of Mayhem with the cast and crew of MTV's Human Giant season 2
thanks to Keith Haskel and the boys over at Remote Productions
for letting us take part in the crazyness...looking foward to see the show in Febuary 2008!!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

October

"Is that somebody looking over your shoulder?????"
BOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                           Happy Halloween

Well this was the first time 'STARLITE' handled  cross country assignments for a client,
All went surprising well at the MGM in Las Vegas
(we should have added this NATIONWIDE services years ago)
What I would like to say is PEPCOM.COM is cool...and boy.... do they have pretty ladies for them!!!!!
I would like to thank our Las Vegas Medics (Bruce Stewart) for an outstanding job!!!
and who can forget the girl with the prettiest name in the world "it fits her perfectly"
Michelle Crissy.
See you back in New York next month

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Alot of times I don't get a chance to thank my MEDICS/EMT's
but THIS TIME I would like to thank Steve Smith for that last minute booking he made for; Remote Productions {because I forgot to change the answering machine message 'It still says we are in Orlando'}
Brian Ticher what can I say "You work great under presure"
ALSO thanks Keith Haskel.

Anyway Nice to see; MTV's 'Human Giant' is back for a second season and it was a trip working at the 'Douglas House' in Orangeburg,NY.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

PEPCOM likes us enough to use us cross country
Great event held at the METROEN in San Francisco.
You the girl Heather Vidulich!!!!!

Thanks

Steve/Jeanne

Whats great about the MTV 'HIP HOP' Honors this year was it was also connected to the; 'Music for Children Foundation' so a lot of the talent showed up 'Salt n Pepa' and 'Ice Cube'
Anyway great job Gillian.

Thanks

 Steve/Jeanne

So here we are on 5th ave again FERN FILMS, weather is GREAT considering we are in October.
The best part of this whole assignment was we didn't have to worry about parking .
Tanya Kateri you out did yourself again!!!

Thanks

Steve/Jeanne

September

Nice to see Michael Imperioli again on the this assignment,
it was pretty cool also to hear from Tanya Kateri from FERN FILMS asking us to work in NYC after 7 pm (We can actually get a parking space at that time) seems the weather is holding out for those outside film shoots, so I guess everyone is talking advantage while they can...

Thanks again
Steve/Jeanne

First of all VH1 Save The Music Foundation 10th Anniversary
gala turned out to be one of the best assignments we ever worked (For free I might add)
Its such a great concept, money to purchase musical instruments for children who can't afford them.
I'd like to start off with a 'THANKS' to John Sykes who started this foundation 10 years ago, and with the help of many other talented individuals & Musicians.
Some people who attended this years event were Former President William Jefferson Clinton,John Mayer,Jon Bon Jovi,Roger Waters,Conan O'brien,Mayor Michael Bloomberg,Paul Shaffer and Mariah Carey now thats pretty cool right???? Well lets not forget the kids in the Student Orchestra; Roderick Littleton,Sergio Vazquez,Michael Stuckey,Hank Born,Wilton White and Mandisha Wells also performing were Kipp Academy & Marine Park School,
Boy... were they fantastic!!!!!!A few Cliff notes that I thought was ironic is the song performed by Roger Waters;
"Another brick in the wall" remember the lyrics?? (We don't need no education) That was hysterical considering the NYC School Chancellor Joel Stein was in attendence but on the other hand Jon Bon Jovi fan/stalker was also in attendence,
listen it was all in good fun and nobody got there eye poked out. Gillian Blackman did a wonderful job and it was also nice to see David Fernandez, but the best part "for me" was my photo with Paul Shaffer (4 years ago I was working the 34th annual Songwriters award ceremony and was about to get with when I realized there was nobody around to take the picture (That really busted my bubble) Anyway Paul said "Next time I promise"
So here we are 4 years later and I run into him again and told him the story "He actually remembered" so his wife who accompanied him took a picture of us....pretty cool story.... huh?????)

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

The one thing I love about computer conventions is all the cool NEW toys being demonstrated that will coming out for the up and coming Christmas/Holiday season,
Can anyone say; "HDTV 3-D TELEVISION!!!"
Yep......its right around the corner.
Anyway just wanted to say what a great job PEPCOM.com did in promoting the event, Chris O'Malley and Jon Pepper were on site to make everything run smooth as glass 'They are actually nice bosses' and we can't forget Michelle Crissy and Heather Vidulich for there tireless aproach to making things work out in a crazy environment AND looking great at the same time!!!

Thanks again
Steve/Jeanne

You know one of my favorite comedians EVER
(And chances are its yours too)
is Jerry Seinfeld and when you get a chance to work with him,
well............ let me put it to you this way...its like being a kid all over again.
The New York METS also were in the Promo shots for the animated movie 'THE BEE' in which Jerry plays the voice of the BEE, but like all production assignments without the people in the backround that make the movie work like; Vem,Marco,Laurie Bernal, Brant Kantor,Spencer and Zeus Morand there would be no GREAT movie... This is going to be a blockbuster 'Trust me'
the kids are going to love this Movie!!!!!! (Me..... included)
Alot of funny things happen on the set; Crazy man wants to sue because he is in the shot,Jerry gets to walk on the grass at Shea
stadium but we can't, a Boston fan is 90 feet away from where history was made in 1986 'Go look it up' and we keep reminding him every 15 minutes,Antenna on BEE bus falls off on 23rd Street, Bee attacking crew members in parking lot.....but nobody wants to kill it 'Bad Omen', bottom line is the ARTIST COMPANY did a superb job getting us all together, the chemistry worked!!
THATS REALLY WHAT MAKES A GREAT MOVIE 'TEAMWORK'
"Stars are included in this one'

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

August

Considering the Meteorologist were steadfast on predicting thunderstorms today...we got lucky!!!
I could see Nina Froriep from CLOCKWISE PRODUCTIONS did a superb job coordinating the logistics and personnel to the "T"
Clint and Carlie helped with those spotanious mis- communications before they became bigger and disastraus.
Bottom line was the SWISS NATIONAL DAY 2007 event went smooth as glass!!! The stage program was sponsored by SWISS HELVETIA and the kids & adults got a laugh from Gardi Hutter "Swiss Famous Clown", The band 'String Equinox' was great along with the yodeling, Ted Schlosberg was pretty cool playing the Alphorn horn, food was excellent thanks to Patina Restaurant Group and last but not least H.E. Ambassador Christoph Bubb,Consul General of Switzerland did a great job too being the M.C for the event.
There are just so many people I can mention without starting to sound like I'm advertising BUT since this assignment went so well I'll make it quick; Beat & Ruth Waser,Claude Solliards the Swiss Ski Club & Swiss Air.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

Its sometimes amazing watching a Movie/TV set being built
So in this particular assignment I have to congratulate
the carpenters and stage hands for there excellent work in putting together the set for MTV's; UNPLUGGED for BON JOVI
being taped on 6/5..(When your 30 feet up and trying to line cable on a scaffold, the work can be a little dangerous) although all those 'tonka toys' helped the crew up and down safely
they were times that they had to climb...and for that I want to thank you all for wearing your safety lines!!!!
Great job guys!!!!!
Also we have to thank Ryan Loftus and Mara Soucie along with Nichole Salamak and Christine West 'Who is from out west'

Too many cool thinks happened at the MTV 24 hour
'Human Giant' Telethon !!!!!
I will point out Rob Huebel Jason Woliner Aziz Ansari & Paul Scheer just might have a hit on ther hands!!! The creative breakdown for this whole thing was pretty much improvised, it was great!!!! ALSO I can't forget MTV's Sandy Pan and Cece from; 'Go Ahead Make My Dinner'
The band 'The Nationals' was outstanding, and if weren't for
"The Shadow" I think the whole thing would have fallen apart

psst.....you want to know there secret the the 'Human Giant' success?????

*****Total improvisation, spontantity, a bottle of Jack Daniels
and angry e-mail reguarding Adam Walsh.

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

B. Dana Boratenski has got to be the nicest person to work for
ANYWHERE .......I hope one day she become the Cheif of VIACOM
Also there are just way too many people involved in this show
for me to thank...its not like I'm the 'Talent' or anything
but there is an old saying once told me back while working the
"THE 34th ANNUAL SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME" presentation a few years back that stuck
(Phil Ramone said it to me while pointing out to all of the production staff working behind the curtian)
I quote; "Without ALL of them, there would be no talent"

10-4 Phil.........10-4

C. A.J from KNIGHTS SECURITY along with Kevin and all those other
guys were great keeping everyone behind the barricades and not letting any 'riff-raff' through to bother/Attack the 'Talent'

D. MY Chemicial Romance performing live on top of Rockefeller Plaza
70 floors up?????? What can I say?????
'Starlite' was very glad to be part of that 'History making performance'

FEBRUARY

I was talking to Steve Smith
"YES... that is his REAL name"
one
of my Medics/EMT's the other day about an assignment we did for EUE SCREENGEMS on 2/28 and he told me the
the GHI commercial which was being filmed at 41st and Park ave NYC was; "a little scary at first"
"I mean you have a car being driven by the stunt driver going down the block at 60 mph and the actor/child walks out into the street
and does NOT walk past the yellow line under ANY circumstances"
he continues
"Well.... anything could happen" he explains.
Scene went off well only 5 takes and 20 different camera angles
Great work kid...nerves of steel at 12 !!!!!
                  {Now go change your shorts}

Thanks Stacey for trusting us AND the stunt driver

Steve/Jeanne

______________

2006

JANUARY

You know after doing this 'Part-time' job for over 5 years now
I always wanted to do one thing "Besides be a star in my own T.V
Comedy Drama action adventure series"
and that was to work for SILVERCUP STUDIOS
well I got my wish......Thanks
Sydney Stockton.& Alexis Arnold.
15 hours of being on location underneath the Brookly bridge on a cold blustery
December Sunday filming the TV Pilot "KIDNAPPED" was really COOL,
It was so COOL we got to do it 5 more times in Manhattan & back to Brooklyn and then off to SILVERCUP STUDIOS EAST
ANYWAY....... great work by Deanna Kelly and Bellamy Forrest on getting those
scenes shot with the cast of 'KIDNAPPED'
Jeremy Sisto,Timmothy Hutton,Dana Delany,Will Denton,Michael Mosley etc..
ALSO I have to take my hat of to Actor/Stuntman 'in the scene above'
Gene Harrison who is great playing the cop with the gun!!
EVEN though the gun had blanks in it...we all jumped everytime a round went off....I'm not as tough as I thought I was.
Speaking of 'tough', the last day on the set yours truly 'ME'
worked the assignment at
SILVERCUP STUDIOS EAST
I was in charge of the medical aspect of 2 stuntmen being 'blown up'.
GREAT WORK Jeff Dowell and AAron Vexler as the SWAT team

"How many times did the ceiling fall on you guys durring the explosion??? I think it was five times.....and still no headache???"
and YES we can't forget the 'Stunt Coordinator' Blaise Corrigan.... without you
I guess they would have REALLY been blown to pieces.

Thanks again
Steve/Jeanne

2005

The MTV Christmas party went off without a hitch....
which is a "good thing" (as Martha would say)
All I have to say is;
If I'm ever going to have a Christmas Party I want David Fernandez running it
because he is the king of parties 'I think he actually has bail money on stand-by just in case'
he covers every base and even has a alternitive plan just in case something falls thru
and most of all he does it without breaking a sweat..
AND yes he does have all his P.A's which are importent BUT without a good
coach you can't have a good team...right!!!
LETS GO METS!!!!!!!!!!!

Steve/Jeanne/Luis/Craig

2005

You know years ago 'Not THAT long ago" I used to watch one of Martha Stewarts shows
and always thought she was pretty cool making all that neat stuff
Like: "How to make a great turkey dinner for thanksgiving"
ANYWAY Mary Therese and Robin Homel are important people when it comes to the show actually working working AND we can't forget Oscar...what would we do without him!!!!
We all loved the 'Smart Water' which really dosen't make you smart but it does
(You know what it does)
After speaking to a few people on the set I was informed that one of my old partners was on
a previous show,  Paramedic Martha Stewart was on last weeks show {when the whole audience names were Martha Stewarts} so that was cool.
I got a big kick out of Nick and Robert being on the show and actually smiling when introduced by Martha Stewart...all the pregnant audience seemed to approve,
And seeing Jennifer Garner made us all want to move to Hollywood and become a star
"Love her in the show ALIAS", and 'YES' she is married to Ben Affleck and she is ALSO due to have a little edition to her family...

Great show and nice to see you back
Martha  'REALLY' and it was fun working those dates
9/14,9/20 & 10/04
and Happy Birthday Martha Stewart's Mom

Steve/Jeanne

2005

One of these days I'm going to write a screenplay or something!!!
I mean come-on being part of a new MTV show called "Call To
Greatness"
for 7 days straight 9/28-10/04 was enough!!! But getting to hear the stories from the EMT's and Medics doing the assignments made me wonder if I have MY priorities in order,
in any case Jennifer will be the reason for the shows success,
I mean with all that pizza flying around the smashed guitars and the worm eating going on
at CBGB's how can this possibly NOT be a Television hit with the kids!!!!!
Good luck to 'Rock the Mohawk Entertainment' and hope to see your guys
keep breaking records all over the country EVEN if they are insane records.

Thanks Again
Steve/Jeanne

2005

I always said 'One day I'm going to make a movie about the cast ands crew MAKING a movie'
after working with COMBUSTIBLE FILMS on this last assignment I think I found the perfect
cast......Special thank-you to 'Marissa' at BLOWBACK PRODUCTIONS for giving us the assignments on 8/04,8/12,8/13/and 8/18 for the movie
THE HOUSE IS BURNING
a lot of things were learned like;
A. How to flip a car doing 40 mph 'compliments of 'Janet' the stunt driver
B. Freight trains with 125 box cars takes 18.5 Minutes to pass
C.a good 'Line Producer' like Kendall McCarthy' is essential to having the rain stop on cue

ALSO many thanks to Hawthorne Ambulace Corp for ther excellent work
{ 'Kim and Lisa we couldn't do it without you!!! }
Fire Cheif Joe Spernza thanks for the call and Phylis you'll be in the next movie
Hawthone Police Depatment you are the best cops I've seen in a while
AND the Honorable MAYOR Fred J. Criscitelli thanks for letting us borrow your town for a few hours.
In closing this I would like to say people like 'Kitt' who works behind the scene are the secret to a good movie and Bill Cress from CRESS PHOTO
'retired from United Artist after 25 years I might add' thanks for your talent over those years....(you still have it by the way)

See you all at the Academy Awards

Steve/Jeanne

2005

Every once in a while we do get those last minute calls
that turn out to be a pleasure to work on....so was the case for the assignment we had this past July 18 in Staten Island For 'Digger
Films LTD'
I always said; "If I never worked for FDNY I always wanted to be in show business..."
Well this proves why!!!!
I can't say enough without 'kissing butt' but the cast and crew on the set were one of the best if not THE BEST, I have ever worked with.{Sometimes I wonder if you can make a movie about the people making the movie!!!)
Everyone from 'Crafty' to Scott and Jeff Lazar To Sean 'I love that shirt'
to Anne, and especially Chris Barnes AND whoever picked 'Beeson Carroll' to play the 'old man' all I can say is THAT person is a genius!!!!!!

See you in Hollywood !!!!!!!!

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

2005

Sometimes a lot of our regular 'Set Medics/EMT's' are
not able to do a show due to other obligations 'Including ME'
So it was nice to have one of my partners from FDNY to fill in for 2 dates. 'Big Dave' had the shock of his life when his assignment
brought him to RUBY FALLS  in NYC.
VIACOM new channel LOGO looks to be a sucess
All I have to say 'Big Dave' is ;"Great Job and welcome to the entertainment business!!!"

Thanks again
Steve/Jeanne

You know sometimes I wonder; "Can we all be THAT talented???????"
after being on the site for MTV LABS TALENT SHOW (June 20) I could not help but wondering if I 'personally' had any 'Star Quality'
BUT after watching 'Opera Joe' win the show
I figured I should keep my day job!!!

It was such a pleasure working at BB Kings and the Guest /Judges
Joe Piscopo,MC Lite,DMC and Rodney Hawkins were the best
and it was a real treat seeing Gilbet Godfried and Joe reminisse about the
old 'Saturday Night Live'......Sometimes I forget what a great show that really was
{thanks for reminding me}

Thanks
Steve/Jeanne

2005

Its nice being on the set once again at MTV Studios for a licensing party
 in Mid-town Manhattan (June 21)
and when you hear that familiar voice on the radio and its David Fernandez
you know that if there are ANY 'glitches' during show...they have NO CHANCE being televised....

Thanks

Steve/Jeanne

Looks like Vanessa Barone is an expert at running major events for the network VIACOM ..how she does it
